It's Always Hardcore In Philadelphia: Crøssed Hearts

Kristen Hernandez

Last Friday the Computercore duo Crøssed Hearts dropped their debut EP, No Basis In Reality. The six track EP is jam packed from start to finish with all the nostalgic screamo vibes you could ask for. Lyrically the tracks hit some deep feels and with the smooth transitions, sick breakdowns and Spencer Chamberlain like vocals it's hard not to put on some black skinny jeans and get to hardcore dancing in the living room.

This talented twosome is made up of Mikey Lince and Julian Carbone. Both coming from prominent Philly/NJ bands such as Heavensake and Pointless. The two joined forces and started releasing music under Crøssed Hearts last September with their first single Tell Me.

There's no doubt this dynamic DIY duo will continue to amaze us with every release and if this EP tells us anything, it is that we are in for one hell of a hardcore ride. Please give these talented gents a listen, follow them on all those social platforms, check out their video for the track isntitobvious below and remember it was never a phase 🤘 🖤.
