Settled In Scranton: The Maguas

When it comes to The Maguas, a few words come to mind. Hardworking, versatile and determined, just to name a few.

Over the last few years this band has pushed forward, through and have come out swinging this year with their debut LP ’Settled’.

The band had been a bit quiet the past couple years, only to emerge with the news of new music, a full length release AND a label signing.

So even though all was quiet on the Maguas front, behind the scenes they were working and preparing to give and share some amazing new music and news.

Last Friday they dropped their debut LP and while it does contain some familiar favorites, we also were gifted a few new tracks that are not only a glimpse of the versatility of this band, but also how far they’ve come and how they keep setting the bar higher and higher for themselves. They of course worked with the legend himself, Nik Bruzzese, at The Gradwell House in Haddon Heights, NJ.

Now being signed to Cire Records, the band has joined quite the family, with label mates such as August Burns Red and Texas In July.

And with the release of the LP, they also did their first vinyl drop. And with the variants being as awesome as the album, it's one you'll want to add to your collection.

Even though the year may be ending, it seems a new beginning is just about to start for the Scranton boys. Stay tuned and of course, stay Settled. Smash the button below to stay up to date on all things Maguas and be sure to stream, share and listen to their new album.
